  11.     TGA2iff is a utility that allows to convert pictures in targa
  12.     format to 12 or 24 bitplanes IFF ILBM format.
  13.  
  14.     AmigaOS 2.04 is needed to use TGA2Iff, and has been tested on an
  15.     Amiga 3000 and OS 3.0.
  16.  
  17.     TARGA file format is used by some raytracers for their output files,
  18.     (POV-ray 1.0) because it is possible to add informations to an image
  19.     without having to rewrite the whole file.
  20.  
  21.     The IFF ILBM is the standard format being used for pictures on the
  22.     Amiga computers. After the conversion done by this small utility
  23.     it is possible to work on the picture with some specialized programs
  24.     such as ADPro (ADSG), HamLabPlus (J.E. Hanway) or Wasp (S.Reiz).

  30.     TGA2Iff TARGA/A,IFF,VERBOSE/S,TWELVE/S,DISPLAY/S
  31.  
  32.     TARGA/A    name of the file to be converted
  33.  
  34.     IFF     output file (iff format). If this parameter is not
  35.                 supplied the filename will be the same as the TARGA file
  36.                 with .iff24 or .iff12 as file extension.
  37.  
  38.     VERBOSE    this switch activates verbose informations about the
  39.                 TARGA file and anything that TGA2iff is doing.
  40.  
  41.     TWELVE    converts to iff 12 bitplanes,
  42.                 instead of 24 bitplanes (default)
  43.  
  44.     DISPLAY    display the image in 16 tones grayscale hi-res
  45.         before converting
